A Qabalistic view of the Divine principles of EmanationThe 
Evolutionary Process of Emanation, like all other developments of 
Natural Philosophy, follows a pattern, referred to 
esoterically, as '
the Sephirotic Tree', and is based on the law that, all 
Realms, 
Planes, 
Levels, 
Organisms, 
Elementals, 
Entities, or other situations of reality, are modelled on 
Divine principles.'The Sephirotic Tree' is a schematic tool for the demonstration of the set of 
prime laws of existence, and their philosophical arrangements in the governance, of the Holiest of attributes.
(Schematic tools such as
 'The Sephirotic Tree', may also be applied to, and used for, the modelling of less divine principles, of 
any physical, meta-physical or philosophical study.)
In the very Beginning:
 'A dimensionless Pythagorean point occurs at the core of the un-manifested Euclidean vastness of Infinities. 
A point without width, depth, height, weight or mass, a point without dimension of any form imaginable, or unimaginable. Such a point, - the Primordial Point -  must in truth comprise Absolute Nothingness'.
We shall name this state Ny) - AYN:

In 
Qabala, the transcendent
 Absolute Entity is called: 
  AYN  - Ny) .
AYN  - Ny)   means: - 
No-Thingness, - 
Beyond Existence, and - 
Separate from all else.
Ayn - is 
the Absolute Nothingness.
Ayn is neither still, nor is it in motion. 
Ayn is not above nor is it below, for 
Ayn is nothing, and thus is nowhere.
Ayn is soundless though it is not silence. 
Ayn is 
zero but it is not void, for out of the 
no-thingness of Ayn, comes the 
one of 
Ayn Soph, (Pwooaas  Ny)).Ayn Soph (Pwooaas  Ny)), means
 The Endless. 
The Absolute Nothingness of Ayn's zero,  is complimented by 
the Absolute All of 
Ayn Soph's  one.
The 
Transcendent  Absolute Entity - AYN  - 
(Ny) ), and the 
Immanent  Absolute Entity - 
Ayn Soph - (Pwooaas  Ny)), simultaneously and respectively, are 
Nothing and 
All.
The
 Absolute Entity has no other attributes, than the nomenclatures:-  
AYN  - 
(Ny) ), and 
Ayn Soph - (Pwooaas  Ny)).
Thus the 
Absolute Entity is singularly, just the 
Absolute Entity, no more, no less, and therefor nothing else compares to it.
Tradition states that in order to understand itself, the 
Absolute Entity must first 
Will to visualize itself.
By that same tradition the 
Will of the 
Absolute Entity is symbolized as 
Ayn Soph Aur -(rw)  Pwooaas  Ny)),  
the Endless Light of Will, and that light which emanates from 
Nowhere and 
Everywhere, shines omnisciently, out of the heart of the combined Realms of the 
Transcendent  Absolute Entity - AYN  - 
(Ny) ), and the 
Immanent  Absolute Entity - 
Ayn Soph - (Pwooaas  Ny)).The 
Absolute Entity knowing 
ALL, thus
 Wills the first Separation, in order that it might
 behold itself
.
Again by that same tradition, we are told that this
 first Separation is accomplished by a 
contraction within '
the Absolute All of 
Ayn Soph' where a place is formed, in which the manifested Existence might thus be mirrored.
This voided place is finite, and thus limited in relation to '
the Absolute All of 
Ayn Soph which contains it.
  In 
Qabala, this act of 
contraction is known variously as, 
(zyz x /  xzyz), the 
Zig-Zag fork-lightening of 
Zimzum, brings about the
 Void of 
Unmanifested Existence even though it is , by tradition, the size of a dimensionless point  in the midst  of the 
Absolute Entity.
Unmanifested Existence is the place of 
Emptiness.
It is quite different from
 No-thingness because, although it is negative like the empty space inside a hollow ball
, it is in fact '
an entity'.
Such a condition must exist so that 
Positive Existence may come into being within it.
AYN SOPH AUR: 
The Divine Light of Infinite Spectrum, visible though as yet unseen: 
    The Divine Will of irresistible force, capable of displacing the immovable:
AYN SOPH AUR, the Imperative Will of AYN SOPH, surges throughout AYN.
Yet, that the Omnipotent Will  of AYN SOPH AUR, should shine throughout AYN SOPH,  and the wondrous knowledge of those events should be contained within AYN, may in itself, not suffice. 
For within AYN SOPH, the Absolute All is Cosmic unconsciousness,  in a divine state of marvellous Serenity! Yet by the very nature of the surge of AYN SOPH AUR throughout AYN,  here is a Reality verging on uncontrollable turbulence, lacking an understanding from which there might emerge self awareness! Thus in order that these events, and the knowledge thereof, be finally balanced, AYN SOPH AUR, must Will that the Almighty,  Absolute  ALL, be truly understood.
" If by the surging Imperative Will of AYN SOPH, some cataclysmic rupture in the continuum of its structures occurs, and Ayn-Soph is forced to withdraw from a part of the vessel AYN and into itself;  And if by doing so, some great Chasm like blister or erstwhile benign appendage comes into being; not a Void (not an abhorrent Void!), but perhaps a vessel of emptiness much as Ayn originally was. A zero actuality, yet of finite nothingness; no void vessel this, nor yet total emptiness; but a place suitable perhaps, for some impending  Emanation; 
Then knowledge of such a cataclysmic event would once more flow into AYN,  most particularly that part of AYN where the event occurred, further straining the very structures of Ayn-Soph. With this new knowledge would flow the how and why of such an event, along with its consequences, and the opportunistic possibilities and philosophies underpinning it, simultaneously with the knowledge of the Imperative Will of AYN SOPH, and its search for understanding and self awareness. "
As already stated - by tradition, the 
Will of the 
Absolute Entity that surrounds the 
voided space, began to  radiate 
Ayn Soph Aur - (rw)  Pwooaas  Ny)) the Endless Light of Will, into the
Void of 
Unmanifested Existence.
This brings into focus three factors which themselves are contained within the 
Void.
- the Will of the Absolute Entity - (the cause without cause)
 
- the act of allowing it so to happen ( the first Emanated cause )
 
- the Restriction to limit and contain the event. ( the first Emanated effect )
 
The three 
Zahzahot, as the 
Occult (
hidden) roots of what eventually becomes the first of 
several sets of major laws, which govern 
Existence, generate the processes of expansion and contraction, overseen by a greater 
Will.
Qabalists sometimes regarded as original acts of 
Mercy and 
Severity  operating under the direct eye of the 
Absolute.
Whilst these three
 Occult (
hidden), Splendours lie outside both 
Manifested and  
Unmanifested Existence, they profoundly effect the nature of the 
Cosmos, and the result of their interaction, as it came into being out of the 
Will of 
AYN SOPH.
When the '
Will of the 
Absolute Entity' - (
 Kav ), begins penetrating the periphery of the 
Void, the 
'event of becoming', occurs.
Out of that first penetration through the frontier between 
AYN SOPH and the 
Void, comes the
 separation of Existence from the 
Absolute. This is because by generating 
Positive Existence,  AYN SOPH was revealed, hidden beneath the manifestation.
Thus, 
AYN SOPH is sometimes called the Concealed of the Concealed.
The first manifestation to occur on breaching  the periphery  of 
Void, is an  Entity named in Hebrew, Keter 
(rtk),  the Prime Crown. Other titles include, the Concealed of the Concealed, the White Head, and the Crown of all Crowns. the 
Will of the 
Absolute EntityMost 
Qabalists though, knew it by a name received by Moses from out of the burning bush :
    " hyh)  r # )  hyh) "  -  " ahyah asher ahyah "  -  "  I am! That I am! "The first Light, that first Splendour, the prime Sefi
rah -
 (hryps), {sing.}, as manifested by the Divinity, is the seed of 
all that was, is, and ever shall be. It is the Light from which all other Lights, ie., all the Sefi
rot - 
(hwryps), {plur.}, emanate.
It contains. at the threshold between the 
absolute and 
relative Universes,  all the 
Cosmic Realms, in total equilibrium.
Until the 
Will of 
AYN SOPH AUR penetrates into the 
Void and emanates manifestation, the Prime Crown is an unrealized possibility of all things that 
could come.
The 
Will of the 
Absolute Entity thus shines forth into the 
Void, and germinates the seed of 
Positive Existence, causing it to take root and to grow into the trunk, branch and fruit of a Divine Tree, and by so doing, acts as intermediary between all the 
Cosmic Realms and the 
Absolute Entity.
Ayn Soph Aur manifests into the Void, as the 'Line of Light' - (Keter thro Malkhut)

Thus, under the influence of the
 Supernal Triad and its 
Three Occult Splendours, 
The first 
sephirah, '
Keter - 
the Crown' - 
(r tk) ,  - the 
Seed of 
contained potentialof an immanent 
Evolutionary process, 
become Manifest.
 As previously shown, contained within the 
Void of 
Unmanifested Existence are three 
hidden, (Occult) Splendours.
- the Will of the Absolute Entity - (the cause without cause)

These three 
AYN SOPH AUR related principles 
are called by some Qabalists the three 
Zahzahot.

Since our consciousness is based solely upon the relationship of quantities to an absolute cause, we can only conceive of cause in respect to quantity. Thus, when resistance (ie., quantity) opposes activity (ie., pure quality), the reality of Phenomena occurs.
The perfect 
phenomenon is one for which resistance and activity are in harmony ie., resistance balances its activity. A 
phenomenon cannot be 
indefinite because , as the 
cause of its own existence, it possesses precisely that which 
is definite, ( ie., quantity), and is limited only in respect of time and mass.
Iteratively, if a causal 
phenomenon continues to be opposed, but however, by a resistance greater than that previously experienced, (assuming, for the sake of example, a process of dissipation (involution)), then resistance or inertia, increases in opposition to activity, and in turn, activity is assumed to decrease. The resultant resistance provokes further 
Phenomena and so on, until a new state of harmony is achieved.
Thus by the opposition of 
quantity to indefinite 
quality, when the size of such 
quantity is, albeit momentarily, consistently equal to the 
quality which gave birth to it, then an '
eternal creation' comes into being. Thus 
phenomena, becomes the result of the 
complementation, of an active, indefinite, 
'causal absolute',  with a passive, (quantitative), and 'definite result'. Thus each moment of Cosmic harmony gives rise to an active and a passive cause, in truth its own compliment. The 'complementation, of these two poles must therefor have as its effect, a new causal relationship, ie., the cause of the next effect.
Generic selection thus consists of a choice by the first 
cause (activity) in respect of a corresponding resistance
.

Figure 4, more closely represents a basic electrical circuit which produces as its 
phenomenon, an advanced mathematical function -
 differentiation. To those finding the example too advanced, please do not be concerned, whilst those with a knowledge sufficient to the task, should endeavour to relate the forgoing explanations to this 
new example.
The irreducible 
Entity, thus possessed of a double nature which is simultaneously, both passive and active, constrained to manifest itself, and containing all the occult knowledge of numbers,  when truly understood; leads naturally and easily to the 
dissociation or 
disengagement of
 Numbers.
